The Blank Canvas

While staring at the blank canvas
I’m drawing pictures in my head
Instead of using a pen and paper
I’ll use the ceiling and my mind instead

I’m lying there so quietly
Everything around is still
I use my imagination
An empty place those pictures fill

Just lying in that silent room
Where nothing makes a sound
Even if the door shutters
I do not look around

Staring up to the ceiling
Just looking, more or less
I remember the pictures I have drawn
On my beautiful blank canvas


In The Purple Room

In the purple room
My dreams, they come to life
Sheep come and talk to me
Thoughts are rid of strife.

In the purple room
Cows really jump the moon
Dogs laugh and sing
With a dish and spoon

In the purple room
Families live in boots
Babies come from storks
Pirates are made of fruits

I’ll never understand
Why white is filled with gloom
But I know all is happy
In the purple room
