New boots in the sale

I have a lot of shoes but hardly any boots. I'm in desperate need of something I can wear in the daytime. They can't be flat, they have to be comfortable and I have to be able to walk a bit of a distance in them. I'm terrible for getting taxis because I'm wearing the wrong shoes... any excuse! I love the boots I have but they're hardly practical. Not that practicality is something I think about very often!

I tried to take some pictures of the boots I already have but they look much better on. The Actor said he'd take some for me. What a pallaver! He's as much of a perfectionist as me and started getting all technical. There were a few crossed words about what I wanted but luckily he didn't get the hump too much. There was a lot of faffing about with the lights. He finally got the lighting the way he wanted it by making me stand on the kitchen worktop. I felt a bit of a twat teetering about up there. I can't believe the lengths we went to to get a few pictures! Thankfully the granite didn't crack under my weight.

I bought these Gina snakeskin boots for £100 from an Owen Gaster show in 1995

I don't have big calves but it was a struggle to get the zips done up on these!

I've been wearing these a lot in the daytime. My friend Frances gave them to me because she didn't wear them. I've got tons of wear out of them as they're the only pair of 'sensible' footwear I have apart from Uggs, Snow Joggers and some trainers knocking about somewhere at the back of the wardrobe.

The Actor very kindly offered to treat me to something in the sale. I haven't bought a thing this year as I have a stack of boring household bills to pay. I love my boyfriend!

We looked online and the first ones that caught my eye were these. I know, I'm supposed to be looking for something to walk in!

Unfortunately (luckily) they'd run out of them in size 6.

Then I found something that fitted my brief perfectly. I fancied some wedge boots and I think they're quite Glam Rock.

Then I spotted them in this colour - £89 reduced to £15. What a great price! Aren't they a lovely colour?

There's brilliant stuff in the sale at Office at the moment. I'm delighted with these and can't wait for them to turn up.

The Actor has been watching food porn for the last hour. He's currently drooling over Jamie Oliver making a steak sandwich. Now he's insisting we go out for a steak. I'd better get off the laptop and get some slap on before he goes hypo-glycaemic!
